This project was the design and construction of two bridges for the Gladstone Regional Council. One bridge is a 22m long dual span structure, while the other is a 36m long three span structure. Both bridges are single lane 5.0m wide and were constructed with 600mm deep N Planks and approach slabs. VEC used sleeved bored piles, regular performance barriers and terminations. The approaches were sealed.
The scope of works also included the removal of the existing timber bridges and replacement of new ones including piling and included 30 metres of roadworks each side of the bridge, deck wearing surface and sealing the roads.
